This Privacy Policy describes how The Prepared Group (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operator of the JV Matchmaker platform at JVMatches.com (the “Service”), collects, uses, and discloses information about users of the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described here.

It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or platforms that may be linked from or integrated with the Service, including third-party payment processors. The Service is intended for businesses and their authorized representatives, not for individual consumers acting in a personal capacity, and is not directed to children under 18.

We collect information you submit when you register, create or complete a profile, request or offer joint venture opportunities, communicate with us or other users, make payments, or otherwise interact with the Service. This may include your name, business name, business contact details, professional background, billing and payment details, the nature of the venture opportunities you are seeking or offering, and any other information you choose to provide.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Service, we may automatically collect technical and usage data, including IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and timestamps, through cookies and similar technologies. We use Google Analytics to help us understand how the Service is used.
Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from our partners, service providers, or publicly available sources where you have engaged with the Service or a related offering.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to operate, maintain, and improve the Service; to facilitate joint venture introductions and matchmaking; to communicate with you about your account, opportunities, and memberships; to administer memberships and brokerage-related services; to process payments; to detect and prevent fraud or misuse; and to comply with legal obligations. We may disclose information: (a) to other users of the Service as inherent in matchmaking—for example, sharing your profile or opportunity details with potential venture partners; (b) to service providers who perform functions on our behalf (such as hosting, analytics, email delivery, and payment processing) under obligations of confidentiality; (c) to our venture partners involved in operating the Service consistent with this Policy; (d) in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets; and (e) where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of the Company, our users, or others.
Information you choose to share with another user through the Service is disclosed at your discretion, and we are not responsible for how other users handle information you provide to them.
5. Payments
We use a third-party payments platform and integrated payment processor to collect and process membership fees and other charges. When you make a payment, you provide payment information (such as cardholder name and card or billing details) that is collected and processed through that platform and its payment processor. We receive transaction records—such as amount, date, and payment status—but full payment-card numbers are handled by the payment processor and are not retained by us. These third parties handle your information under their own privacy and security practices, including applicable PCI-DSS obligations, and we encourage you to review them.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics, to operate the Service, remember preferences, and analyze usage. You can usually control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may limit functionality.
